At OrangeSlyce, we know that a designer's time is valuable, and we believe you should be treated accordingly.
That's why we don't feature any spec work on our site.
With crowdsourcing sites, you submit design after design to contests in the hopes that a client will choose yours out of a crowd.
The problem is that, with so many submissions to review, clients can often be unresponsive and uncommunicative which leads you to not understanding their needs and ultimately not being rewarded for your work.
At OrangeSlyce, we believe in a more personal touch.
Here, your only concern will be pleasing your business clientele.
We are confident that, when given the opportunity and right compensation, you have the ability to create a design project that exceeds the expectations of a buyer.

Definitely. If you've recently graduated and are able to take on project-based design work, OrangeSlyce can be a great way to get experience and extra income.
All you need to sign up is your university email address which will be something like: sean@asu.edu.

Although we envision one day being open to everyone, at this point OrangeSlyce's focus is exclusively on college student designers.
We know that some design schools do not have a .edu domain address and if this turns out to be the case, we'd be happy to include your schools' domain with OrangeSlyce.

Business users can see your email address either when you've applied for a job or you are recommended for a particular project. Business' emails are displayed in job postings for easy communication.

Absolutely no stock art is allowed for use in a logo or design project. Businesses need designs that are original and can best stand out from other brands.
Using stock art does not allow a business to effectively meet this need. Students that misuse the system will be removed from the website immediately and permanently.

Simply email us at info@orangeslyce.com and a check will be mailed in about 5 business days to the address you have listed in your profile (so make sure that your address is correctly listed).
We know that this is a bit inefficient; we apologize and assure you that the solution is temporary. As we continue to develop our site a more convenient method will be made available to all of our users.
