  1. When our algorithm identifies you as recommended student for a project.
  2. When you personally apply to a publicly listed project.
  3. When we are legally required to do so.

For Businesses:

  1. When you select a student for a project, your contact information will be available to that student.
  2. When we are legally required to do so.

It is important to know that you are in control of all information that you submit to us and is contained on your "Profile" page and that you are in control of the availability of your information.

  1. A student can opt out of the public availability of his or her information at anytime by un-checking the “Looking for Projects” check box on his or her “Profile” page.
  2. We use the information you provide about someone else when making a referral only to solicit that person. We do not share this information with outside parties.
  3. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
  4. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of students are from Z university, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
  5. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
