After seeing all your student applicants and recommendations, you can easily contact them through the OrangeSlyce messaging system. Recipients receive an email notification that can be replied to directly. However, we recommend that you login to OrangeSlyce to reply to messages so we can keep good records. Students that quickly respond to your design project get bumped up in our recommendation system for the higher budgeted projects.
Once you select a student for your project, feel free to use whatever means of communication you are most comfortable with, including email or phone. You can, of course, continue to use our messaging system! Set a deadline for the submission of a first draft and follow up with the student on that date.
After you see initial design drafts from your student, be sure to provide specific feedback to further improve the design. Be open and honest about your likes and dislikes regarding the creative work. Keep in mind that this process is naturally iterative and the number of drafts to go through is usually between three and five. Interaction and communication ensures you get the result you want, something that’s not easy to find these days.
Continue the process of providing detailed commentary to submitted drafts until you have the creative project that you're happy with. We find it's best to keep each draft and commentary cycle at approximately two days.
